Although we handle many types of cases, we particularly emphasize the following areas of law. We do not claim any special accreditation or expertise in these, or in any other area of law:
Employment Discrimination
We handle employment discrimination cases based on race, gender, age, ethnicity, nationality, religion, and disability.
Counseling
We understand that our clients might have needs other than representation in litigation. Counseling also is an integral part of our practice.
Civil Rights
We can handle the toughest civil rights cases to make sure that everyone's individual rights are vindicated. We are versed in the latest issues and the court cases that will help support and insure our clients' civil rights.
Criminal
Our firm has extensive experience defending the rights of people arrested and accused of criminal offenses. We handle all types of criminal cases, including felony cases in federal and state courts, and misdemeanors in local courts, including DUI and other minor offenses.
Mediation
Mediation is a non-binding dispute resolution process increasingly used in lieu of expensive and lengthy litigation. Ron Lewis is a member of the Mississippi Bar Mediation Section and is listed at the Bar website, msbar.org, as meeting the qualifications to be placed on the Bar's List of Mediators.
